Brian Culy
Born in Wellington in 1954, Brian started work at the National Film Unit, then Vidcom Auckland as a videotape editor. Brian moved back to Wellington to learn film editing subsequently started his own post-production company. In 1984 set up his own film production company Airdate, which lasted for a successful 15 years. Brian semi-retired from the film industry in 2000 to follow his long-time passion for photography working for a variety of clients and producing and exhibiting works of his own. Currently, Brian and wife Leanne have set up the art home-ware company: Home Base Collections in 2008, and have now started a new art venture combining both film and photography.
