About Us

Boyd-Dunlop Gallery first opened its doors in 2014 when artist Richard Boyd-Dunlop opened the space to exhibit his own paintings.  The artist turned art dealer, partner Elisa Boyd-Dunlop and their dedicated team have grown the business as a hub for contemporary art in the Hawkes Bay. 

Boyd-Dunlop operates two street fronting downstairs gallery spaces as well as an extensive upstairs contemporary exhibition gallery space and event space called Boyd-Dunlop Contemporary.  The gallery aims to be accessible to all as a place to view and enjoy art.  

 

The gallery aims to bring high quality contemporary Art from across Aotearoa and hosts regular exhibitions showcasing key local talent as well as bringing high profile artists in from other regions and overseas. The gallery also has a large range of fine art prints and organise framing and delivery across New Zealand and abroad.
