Random Guy
Random Guy is a contradiction by design — a collision of structure and spontaneity,
discipline and disruption. Shaped by a New Zealand upbringing where contrast
plays a defining role. Influenced by a disciplined, military background, his work
carries a sense of precision — but it’s in the tension of breaking that structure
where his voice truly emerges.
Working with stencil, spray paint, metallics and resin, Random Guy constructs each
piece layer by layer demanding both patience and intent — forming compositions
that shift and evolve under changing light. The metallic elements catch and reflect,
while the resin finish amplifies depth, pulling the viewer into the work rather than
simply presenting it.
His pieces are unapologetically vibrant, alive with movement and energy, yet
anchored by narrative. Every artwork carries its own story, its own tension, its own
moment — and no two are ever alike.
Random Guy’s practice is the result of years of exploration, refinement and
persistence. What has emerged is a distinctive visual language that is both
technically disciplined and creatively unrestrained. With a clear vision and an
uncompromising approach to originality, he is firmly focused on establishing
himself on the international stage.
