Bio

Delicia Sampero is a painter and installation artist whose exhibition career spans nearly forty years. Since 2010, Delicia Sampero has embarked on a unique artistic journey, creating art that breathes new life into discarded traffic signs..
Delicia's road sign installations have been featured at various art events, including Sculpture on the Gulf and Sculpture on the Shore, and locally at the Hawkes Bay Arts Festival, the Wildflower Sculpture exhibition, and the Hastings City Gallery.
Delicia's artwork draws inspiration from the complex interconnections present in nature, the intricate neural pathways of the brain, the dynamic exchange between humans and cultures, technology, and the complexities of the current world..
Her artworks are in private and public collections in New Zealand and internationally.
