I am permanently fascinated by old shit; stuff that has seen years of human interaction - skirting that has been repainted over the years hiding layers of bilious colour, weatherboards that that the sun and rain have deconstructed, formica that has seen too many breakfasts. I find re-molishing these found materials constantly satisfying and even tell myself I am helping slow down the piling of man made detritus that will one day bury the entire planet - Fane Flaws
