The Japanese company Medicom Toy released its first BE@RBRICK on May 27, 2001, one year later they began partnering with artists and brands ranging from KAWS, Tristian Eaton to Nike and Chanel. Since then they have made their way onto MTV Cribs, galleries and is beloved by everyone from Pharrell Williams to Grace Coddington.
