They fade, or get replaced, or just become part of the background until no one can remember why they mattered.
Art’s no different.
It hangs around for a bit. Get’s looked at. Get’s talked about. Then one day it doesn’t.this isn’t about that.
This is for the moment before it disappears.
For the people who feel something and don’t know where to put it.
The ones who lie awake a little too long.
Who let their thoughts run just far enough to scare themselves, then pull back.
I used to think there was an answer.
That if you followed it far enough, everything would settle into place.
It doesn’t.
Or maybe it does, and that’s the problem.
Either way, I stopped trying to solve it.
Now it’s just this.
